This Quick and Easy Thinking of You Handmade Card should be in your card stash all the time.  Thinking of you is a great greeting to send for many occasions.  You can send them for:

  • sympathy
  • get well
  • friendship
  • miss you

This layout showcases two of my favorite products from the mini catalog:  Beautiful Bokeh Paper and With You in Mind Stamps.  To see more samples with these cards check out my Card Gallery or see samples from Stampin' Up! in the Mini Catalog.

The Card

Quick and Easy Thinking of You Handmade Card
easy thinking of you card with bling

Here's the card outside (above) and inside (below).  Even when you're not adding a greeting to the inside, it's nice to add a little stamping to tie it all together.  This greeting is from a discontinued stamp set, but any greeting stamped in the coordinating ink will tie everything together.

Let's Make It

Now let's make this easy card.

  1. Fold and burnish the score line for the Balmy Blue card base
  2. Stamp the “thinking of you” and heart in Balmy Blue on the Bokeh paper
  3. Stamp the inside greeting on one of the Basic White layers
  4. Glue the blank Basic White layer to the card base
  5. Glue the stamped Basic White layer to the inside of the card
  6. Glue the Bokeh paper to the top of the card and add a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Dimensions and Measurements

  • Balmy Blue – 11″ by 4 1/4″
  • Basic White – 5 1/4″ by 4″ (2)
  • Bokeh DSP – 4 3/4″ by 3 1/2″
