Let's chat about how to make an ombre background with ink pads.  I've been playing around a lot with this technique.  It's the featured technique for Issues 5 – 8 of Technique a Week.  Each of these issues takes the ombre technique in a new, unique direction.  It's truly an easy technique to accomplish and it looks so beautiful!

I like to use blending brushes to make this, but you can also use sponges, daubers or any other tool that will give you some control over the amount of ink you are applying to your card stock.
