You can make this thinking of you fall card in a snap! When I sat down to make this card I had a few goals. I wanted to use the new Chicken Wire Elements with a twist and I wanted to use the new Falling for Leaves Bundle. Hope you like my result. The key material turned out to be sponges. I used both the sponge brayer and Stampin' Sponges to add color to the Chicken Wire and the die-cut leaves.
- Here are the steps I followed:
- Flip the Chicken Wire over the white matte side. Use a sponge brayer with Soft Suede ink to color the wire element (it's really made of paper, but looks like wire)
- Cut a Fresh Fig layer to 11″ by 4 1/4″ score and fold to make the card base
- Cut a layer of Crushed Curry to 5 1/2″ by 4″
- Stamp the leaf stamps in Fresh Fig, Mellow Moss and Soft Suede
- Die cut them with the matching shapes
- Sponge stamped leaves with Crushed Curry using Stampin' Sponges
- Stamp the greeting with Fresh Fig and cut out with Layered Square Die
- Attach all the stamped and die cut element with Dimensionals and Mini Dimensionals
- Tie Fresh Fig ribbon in a bow and attach with Mini Glue Dots

Using the dimensionals to attach the leaves and the greeting serve two purposes:
- give the card depth to create more interest
- hold the chicken wire to the card stock
