When I saw this stamp in the Language of Love stamp set I knew I had to get it. This is what Taryn and I say to each other all the time. Well we text it more than say it these days, but I'm getting better with that. Taryn's favorite color is purple so when I decided to send her a card with this stamp I knew it had to be purple. I happen to love the elegance of Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant (no pun intended) together. When I added the silver elements it really came together.
The Silver Tafetta, Silver Basic Buttons and Fringe Scissors on our silver cardstock really helped this card pop. With all the silver the Smoky Slate Chevron Ribbon plays right along too.
Not to be left out I should point out the top of the center tag: the Scallop Tag Topper Punch is the bomb! It instantly gives that elegant look to any 2″ strip of cardstock.
Then for the final touch I lined the envelope with the new Silver Vellum using the hearts pattern.
Do you have someone special you'd make a card like this for? Leave me a comment and let me know who would receive your card.
I love your card. I will do my best to copy it – just to let you know!
My husband and I were separated -by distance – the year we were engaged. We would write every day and speak as often as we could. Long distance calls were expensive back then so we couldn’t speak as often as we would have liked. We ended every call and letter this way. Now – we just had our 30th Anniversary – I’m always thrilled when he says it because of course it’s not as often. Time plays with those little things.
Thanks so much for sharing! I love you story!
