Petite Pairs to the rescue again! This set has every greeting pair you could ever need. I decided to make a fully-loaded card with lots of accessories. For my taste, I like to keep the color selection to a minimum in order to not overwhelm all the elements on the card.
STAMPING TIP: To get the brads in the center of the paper daisiesI had to trim the legs a little. Craft & Rubber scissors are great for this as they cut through anything. Just be sure to hold them inisde a container (like a garbage can) so when the little pieced of metal go flying nothing bad happens.
I added the layer of black behind all that was going on with the card to give it that final "pop". You will find that Basic Black, Early Espresso and Night of Navy are great for adding this effect.
For the first layer of the card I used a slice of paper from Summer Smooches Deisgner Series Paper. Then I added the Fancy Fan Embossed Rich Razzleberry Cardstock. On top of that I punched out the greeting from Petite Pairs with the Postage Square punch. Then in the upper left corner I added three Rich Razzleberry buttons from the Brights Buttons package.
For the focal point I started with a white 2 1/2" circle. This made the rest of the flower focal point really stand out. Then I layered a scallop circle of Rich Razzleberry after I pierced the center of each scallop. The next layer is another circle of white. Then I embossed a flower from Secret Garden in white on Rich Razzleberry and then cut it out with matching framelits.
The last step for this card was to decorate three of the smallest flowers from the Paper Daisies Pack with small brads.
I had a great time putting this card together – I hope you enjoy it too!
