I saw these colors used in the samples for some masculine cards in the new catalog. I liked the combination and needed to make my nephew a birthday card.
I used Chocolate Chip, Brocade Blue and Mellow Moss to creat the card.
I really like the new Large Star Punch! I worked great with the Punches Plus Brass Template (that started in the last catalog so I think SU was planning this new punch for awhile.
I stamped the background with Starstruck and the greeting is from It's Your Birthday.
I tied it all together with the wide Chocolate Grosgrain Ribbon.
If you look closely you'll see I used textured Bordering Blue cardstock – I love this cardstock – it's just so fun to layer with. I also used a layer of vanilla to make the texture really pop! Tomorrow back to a girly card…
