Time_well_spent I wanted to share with you one of the cards we'll be making at my Pretty As Can Be class on January 17 and January 18.  I'll post the other projects after the class.  I had so much fun making this one – I hope everyone at the class does too!

I started with a Celery Card and used Celery Designer Series Paper, white and black cardstock for layering.  I used the Time Well Spent stamp set (Hostess Level 3 – FREE from SU to all Demos!).  I colored in the stamp image with celery and rose romance markers.

I tinted the pretties using sponge daubers and ink (Bravo Burgundy and Rose Romance).  I finished the flower off with one of the smaller half pearls from the Pretties Kit.

The bottom of the card uses one of the ribbons from the Sherbert Ribbon Original collection. I couldn't resist using the Tearing Edge on the center layers and piercing the bottom of the card.  Speaking of "resist" – maybe that's a technique I'll use next week…

As I said in the last post – back to girly!

Be Well –

Linda
