Today we are making a simple card for the holidays to celebrate the season. I'm using the new-ish Iconic Imagery bundle and some unique colors for the holiday season. Here's the card we're making today. Check out how easy the layers are and how the designer series paper pulls it all together. Plus that cute tree – I'm in love with that tree.
2025 January – April Mini Catalog Paper Share
The new mini catalog starts on January 6! This catalog contains 7 new paper packs designed by Stampin’ Up! to help with all your creating. A Paper Share is a great way to get a sampling of all the papers without spending “all the money”. Time is short! You’ll need to act to secure yours. Check out all the details here.
The Supplies
Next, let's review the supplies used to make this project. I don't often include the “suite” in my project listing, but if you like what you see then the suite makes for easy ordering.
Let's Make It
Now let's make this simple card for the holidays to celebrate the season. If you're a crafter that likes to copy exactly down to the 1/8″ I've included the dimensions below as well.
- Fold and burnish the score line for the card base
- Stamp the greeting and “the season” on the Basic White layer towards the top and left
- Stamp the bold version of the tree in Bubble Bath; layer the detailed version over that in More Mauve
- Glue the Basic White layer to the Moody Mauve layer
- Glue the designer series paper in the upper left corner with about 1/4″ space at the top and on the left
- Glue the layered greeting in the lower right corner with about 1/4″ space at the bottom and on the right
- Die cut the tree and add it to the lower right corner of the greeting with Mini Stampin' Dimentionals
- Add a few clear adhesive backed dots on the greeting layer
