Depending on your phase of life you could be making lots of Quick Celebrate Baby Cards. With our kids seven and five years out of college we are knee deep in baby time. Also lots of weddings, but that will be a card for another day. Leave a comment if you want that at the top of the list when I return to my office.
Anyway, today's card has no stamping – gasp! I realize this is two weeks in a row with no stamping, but in an effort to get personal cards completed and show you something fun and new I made both a graduation card and baby card with no stamping. Ok – I will stop repeating no stamping, but you have to admit it's pretty rare to make a card this way.
THOUGHTS ON CUTTING
For this card you really don't need a lot of colored card stock. I wanted to show off one of our new colors – Summer Splash – so I was more limited in what I could choose to coordinate. If I was going to cut up enough card stock to make many of these, I would rifle through my scraps for two-color-combos that screamed “baby” – or at least spoke it loudly.
CUTTING YOUR LAYERS
- COASTAL CABANA CARD BASE – 8 1/2″ BY 5 1/2″
- BASIC WHITE LAYER – 5 1/4″ BY 4″
- COASTAL CABANA SCRAP – big enough the detailed part of “celebrate” and then four small rectangles for the letters of “BABY”
- SUMMER SPLASH SCRAP – big enough for the mat of celebrate
NOTE: make sure the letters for “baby” and the detailed “celebrate” have adhesive sheet on the back

ASSEMBLING YOUR CARD
- Emboss the Basic White layer with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder
- Add adhesive sheet to the scraps that need it (see above) and die cut the words and letters
- Attach the “Celebrate” to its mat and then the card using Stampin' Dimensionals
- Attach the “BABY” to the card
* Add some Rhinestones for bling if this is for a girl
