Crafted with Love: DIY Valentine’s Day Card Tutorial

Cutting & Scoring – Laying the Foundation:

• Begin with an 8″ x 5 ½” piece of Real Red cardstock, scoring and folding it at 4″ to create a sophisticated card base.
• Craft a canvas for your heartfelt message using a 3 ¾” x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White Card Stock, ensuring a clean and elegant background.
• Add a touch of romance with a 3 ½” x 5” Flirty Flamingo layer, setting the tone for the vibrant design.
• Infuse patterns into your design with the 3 ¾” x 5 ¼” Brights DSP Flirty Flamingo, elevating your card's visual appeal.
• For intricate detailing, secure scraps of Real Red and Basic White for the Stitched Nested Dies.

Instructions – Crafting Brilliance:

• Stamp a heartfelt greeting in Real Red on a scrap die, selecting the smallest rectangle Stitched Nested Label Die for a unique shape that adds personality to your message.
• Elevate your sentiment by embellishing the lower right corner with Iridescent Pearls, adding a touch of sophistication to your masterpiece.
• Take it up a notch by cropping a Real Red scrap using the next larger Stitched Nested Label Die, introducing depth and visual interest.
• Assemble your creation by attaching the stamped Basic White to the Real Red label using Stampin' Dimensionals, creating a tactile masterpiece.
• Dive into the playful world of Patchwork Pieces Dies, cropping them from the Brights DSP. Attach these delightful shapes to the Flirty Flamingo layer, creating a mosaic of colors and patterns.
• Seal the deal by placing your stamped greeting on the Real Red mat, creating a captivating focal point that captures the essence of your heartfelt message.
