use-decorative-paper-to-make-a-card

It's time to use decorative paper to make a card!  I know many of you like to use your papers sparingly and if that's your style good for you.  For me decorative paper, scrapbook paper or designer series paper was made to make my life easier.  It adds pattern, theme and color to my project and, when I use enough of it, the paper becomes the anchor of my card.

Take a look at your stash of beautiful paper and consider making just four cards this way.  When you do this you will realize how freeing it is.  You really won't miss that one piece of 12″ by 12″ paper (and you will have some leftover) and you'l have four great cards to send to friends and family.  Leave me a comment and let me know if you are thinking

  • “No way!”
  • “I might give that a try”
  • “I'm already on that train!”

Ok here are today's details:

NUMBERS

  • Petal Pink: 8 1/2″ by 5 1/2″; score at 4 1/4″
  • Purple Posy: 5 1/4″ by 4″ and scrap for small thin stitched rectangle
  • Whisper White: 4 7/8″ by 3 5/8″ and scrap for greeting
