Whew! Today really got away from me, but I promised you'd get an easy pattern for gift card holders and I wanted to deliver. This set of gift card holders went to speakers at a recent event I volunteered at. You can easily change up the card stock, patterned paper and belly band to suit your needs. Because the gift card holder is 4″ wide you can also insert it or attach it inside an A2 (4 1/4″ by 5 1/2″) card.
The most important thing to keep in mind are the scoring dimensions for the base of the gift card holder and then the cutting measurements for the coordinating designer series paper.
The scoring dimensions for the 4″ by 11″ gift card holder are: 2 3/4″, 3 1/2″, 4 1/4″, 5″, 5 3/4″ and 8 1/2″
The cutting dimensions for the inside and outside are:
4 – 3 3/4″ by 2 1/2″
2 – 3 3/4″ by 2 1/4″
4 – 3 3/4″ by 1/2″
For the belly band you need a base of 7″. In this case I used 7″ of ribbon connected in the back of the gift card holder with Mini Glue Dots. I added a felt bow for decoration on the front.
