Did you know that Cardinal eggs are mint colored with tan speckles? I didn't until I Googled it. That was the inspiration for this card – a cardinal mama sitting on her eggs in her nest. It seemed like a cute twist on a new baby card. This card can be sent even before the parents know the sex – nice gender neutral colors!
The nest in the card is made with both the circular swirls in the Swirly Scribble framelits. I clipped the larger circle of the nest and interlocked the smaller one inside it before using some strategically placed bits of Dimensionals to attach it.
