Good Monday Morning!  Time for a  Mojo Monday Sketch (MOJO443).  I've been playing with our new Wink of Stella product and wanted to show it off today.  I love adding it to our Expressions Natural Elements!  This card showcases one of the things I love best about Stampin Up! products – coordination.  The color scheme uses three colors from the 2015-2017 In Color Combos.  The pattern theme of “stripes” can be found in the textured embossing folder, washi tape and designer series paper.  The three colors are repeated in both the paper elements as well as the flower accents.  How cool is that?  I like to be creative as much as the next guy, but when Stampin' Up! helps me with my decisions I'm ok with that.

Mailing Tip for a Thick Card:  when you mail this type of card you can still use first class letter postage.  You may want to consider protecting the embellishments.  You can do this quite easily by folding the card inside out when you place it in the envelope.  No extra pieces and it will needed, but when they open your pretty envelope the gorgeous front of your card won't be the first thing they see.  Another option is to add just a little weight (shouldn't tip the scales to higher postage) with a quarter sheet of colored card stock.  I'm recommending colored card stock because it's a little heavier than the white or vanilla.

Coordinate the Inside Too:  If I create a card that has a colored base I usually add a neutral layer to the inside.  That just makes it easier to write your message.  For this card I added a little coordinating washi tape too.

Adding Wink of Stella:  This is SO easy!  I do recommend that whatever you're painting this onto you lay it on a scratch piece of paper and leave it for a few minutes to let the Wink of Stella dry.  Just paint it on and watch the glimmer show.  You can add a light layer or more to give it a good shine.
