The Mini Treat Bag Die is on sale this week in the LAST round of Weekly Deals. These bags are so easy to put together AND the die set comes with lots of extras like the “for you” greeting on this bag tag.
This project also shows off one of the unique Occasions Catalog Designer Series Papers. The Shine on Specialty paper is heavy paper, matches the craft color and has silver designs on one side and color designs on the other. The coordinating colors are Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder.
You can get two of these projects from one piece of 12 by 12 paper. The Mini Treat Bag Die only uses a 6″ by 6″ square piece and a 6″ by 3″ piece of paper. This allowed me to punch the tag from the scraps left behind. The tag shows you the silver side of the paper.
I'm going to miss this Watercolor Wonder Satin Ribbon. On Sunday, demonstrators all over the world get to see the new Annual Catalog. Fingers crossed that they carry over this ribbon and even have it in a few different colors!
A few more tips and tricks:
- I used Fine-Tip Glue Pen to attach the “for you” to the tag
- The tag is just shy of 2″ wide so it fit through the Ornate Tag Topper punch with ease
- I assembled the bag using Tear & Tape – love that stuff!
