mojo364, fall stamps, fall colors, quick card

The theme here is color coordination.  I kept adding layers and elements, but stuck with the Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze and Honey Hello Stampin Up colors.  For additional inspiration I used the MojoMonday 364 sketch.  I wanted some dimension to the card as the sketch was a little flat.  That's when I thought about die cutting the leaves.  But then to give them more life I embossed them with the Woodgrain embossing folder.  Do you see the cool veining?  It was so easy!  One run through the Big Shot and all the leaves were embossed.

Do you miss out on some of my local classes due to where you live or your schedule?  I am making plans to bring my Holiday Planning class online.  The first live event is this Thursday (September 25) at 7:30pm at my home in Trumbull, CT (06611).  The way this works is that I will have LOTS of displays up along with about 10 holiday card ideas for you to choose from.  You can always deviate from the plan, but the cards I share in the plan will include a cheat sheet with cutting dimensions, purchase quantities (based on how many cards you intend to make) and tips for mass production.

After I get feedback from the participants I will be creating an online version of the Planning Session.  Since the Holiday Planning Session is free to those who live locally, it will also be free online!

Stay tuned for details.  Leave me a comment if you have any ideas or suggestions.  I'm pretty sure I have some extra goodies lying around my craft room that will be given away to some of the commenters – will that be you?
