Today is a day to celebrate! Family, friends and freedom! Yes, I'm one of those moms that asks the kids to take their hats off during the National Anthem. I've even been known to throw a motherly look towards people who choose to continue to socialize during those short two minutes while we pay tribute to those who fought for us and continue to serve.
I'm not sure who the recipient of this card will be. I do know I had a fun time making it! I was inspired when I read that the Merry Minis Punch Pack from last year's Holiday Catalog will be continued. I had a great time creating with the star, tree and ornament. Stampin' Up! created this flyer to show all the goodies that will be continued from the old Holiday Mini.
To create the white stripes for the card I pulled out my White Stazon Ink Pad. This pad is great to use because it dries so fast. You do, however, need to reink it if you haven't used it in awhile. After I embossed the Real Red Card Stock I just rubbed the ink pad over the stripes and the higher ones picked up the ink.
Have you had a chance to poke around the new site? I appreciate the feedback I've been receiving and would love to hear more! Please let me know what you think by leaving a comment below.
I hope you, your family and friends celebrate a wonderful 4th of July!
