STAMPING TIP: This is a tip I learned a long time ago, but it's so great I wanted to share it with you today. When I first used my markers and inked up the elephant I realized that the stamp was so new it wasn't holding the marker ink well. Marker ink is thinner than inkpad ink and some stamps don't get a great image from markers. I took my handy pumice stone and rubbed it all over the stamp. When I inked it again I got a much better result. I rubbed it one more time and inked it a third time – that's the card you see above. Here are my first two attempts:
You can see the one on the right (second attempt) picked up the ink much better than the first (on the left).
