I really liked the Chock-Full of Cheer set when I saw it in the Annual Catalog last summer. Then when the Holiday Mini came out and they added the Mitten Punch that was it! I like that Stampin' Up! put a few great images, a greeting and accent stamp all in one set.
My color inspiration for this card again came from Target. I saw this display and knew I would have to combine Pool Party and Real Red. I like them together so much that I think you will see this again and again.
I have to admit that is one of the common characteristics of Stampin' Up! demonstrators. Once you've been around awhile the whole world is made up of the Stampin' Up! color pallet. Never would I walk up to this display and think "Wow, that blue and red look great together". In my mind I heard "Real Red, Pool Party and a splash of Island Indigo – great combination!"
My dilema with this card was embellishments. As you can see I finally just didn't add any. I tried a few things, ribbon, brads, buttons and everytime they just seemed to overwhelm this clean and simple card. So I left it that way – what do you think?
