thank you stampin up big shotThe theme this week is clean and simple.  Making cards this way doesn't take much time, but the recipient will be just as "thankful" that you took the time to make and send a card.  The inspiration for this card were the colors in the scrap of Patio Party Designer Series Paper I found in my scrap box.  I started with that and then just kept building until I was happy.  If you're going for the clean and simple look you have to say "stop" pretty early on and accept that blank space is part of the beauty of your project.

I'm a pretty basic kind of girl so this layout style comes pretty easy to me.  The cards I always need lots of help with are the ones with lots of accessories and texture.  I really need to start with a few good ideas from other demonstrators in order to be happy with the result.  That's one of the reasons I love being a demonstrator.  Demonstrators freely share ideas in the demo section of the Stampin' Up! website, swapping at meetings and other private swaps.  Creative inspiration is just one of the many perks to being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
