Happy Saturday! Today is the last of our Moving Forward cards. Today I am headed over to New York to attend a stamp meeting run by a fellow demonstrator. I should come home full of ideas and lots to share with you. Cathy is such a talented stamper and her meetings are always so much fun!
Stampin' Up! has spiced up the Starter Kit again! You can get a Halloween Bonus just for joining my team during the month of August. I have a whole list of reasons why you should join my team and this just adds to the list (but only until August 31!)
I think this frog stamp was the one I was first drawn to when I saw this set. There is so much you can do with it! I put the brad over the "a" in Happy to continue the frog theme.
For this card I started with an Old Olive Card. Then I used a layer of Whisper White that measures 5 1/4" by 4". On this layer I stamped four frogs at varying heights and stamped the swirl under them to give them more character. I used the Big Shot to cut a small "pinking shear" edge out of Basic Black and attached that to the back of the Old Olive DSP from the Polka Dot Parade package. The DSP measures 2" by 4".
Finally I used the Big Shot again to cut one of the shapes from Apothecary Framelits after stamping the Happy Birthday from Sassy Salutations. I put an Old Olive brad from the Brights collection over the "a" to make it an "o". Then I added 2 hearts from the Owl Builder Punch in Real Red.
Supplies: Stamps – Sassy Salutations, Moving Forward; Ink – Old Olive, Basic Black; Paper – Old Olive, Whisper White, Basic Black, Polka Dot Parade DSP, Real Red; Other – Edgelit; Apothecary Accents Framelit, Owl Builder Punch, Brights Brads
I really like highlighting a particular stamp set – what do you think?
This is ADORABLE! 🙂
