One of the cards at the February Card Cafe (February 5 at 7:30pm at my home – 129 Fresh Meadow Drive, Trumbull, CT 06611) uses the Finial Press embossing folder. The trick is that the card has an oval in the center of it that omits the embossing folder – remember? Click HERE to view that post.
Well, I thought I'd share my secret – here it is:
I ran the On-Board chipboard (large book pieces) through the Big Shot with the Scallop Oval Bigz Die. I pulled out the oval and used transparent tape to keep the scallop oval in its place. This became a layer in my "sandwich" when I used the Big Shot. I placed it underneath the Finial Press Embossing Folder. It really makes a great addition to using the Big Shot and Embossing Folders.
