I am jus so happy that spring is finally here to stay! This is the first week temperatures aren't heading back into the low 50's or worse, high 40's!
This card is my ode to spring. I created it for a quarterly swap that I am in. It uses the Polka Dot background stamp as well as the Tart and Tangy Stamp set. I loved the Summer Picnic paper when I saw it and had to get it in there!
You may need to enlarge the image to see, but the bliss blue circle is punched out of textured paper with the red button layered and threaded with blue gingham ribbon.
Hint: I used one of the large needles from the Crafter's Toolkit to thread the ribbon through the button. Since this was a swap I put the thread through several buttons before I went back to cut and tie knots.
