Stampin' Up! Halloween Scenes framelits give you lots of options for Halloween! I needed a little inspiration to get me going this morning so I turned to the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge. I knew I wanted to share a Halloween card with you and once I saw the design (and finished my first cup of coffee) my wheels started turning.
Here is the sketch for this week:
You can see that I strayed a little bit, but that's the whole idea of a sketch – inspiration! The major parts of the sketch are included, I just took a little liberty with the banner and embellishment. For that I used the moon and the witch.
Speaking of moon – did you notice it's not pure yellow? Daffodil Delight in Stampin' Up! words. It started as a scrap of Daffodil Delight card stock and then I lightly sponged some Pumpkin Pie ink on top. After that I cut out the circle. It really does make a difference – trust me.
You probably noticed the shadow behind the spooky tree. I just cut another tree in basic gray and then layered them with the gray just a little off to the right.
