If you want to use up scraps to make lots of cards this year then today's samples will help you get started. One of my favorite things to do as the year winds down and I buckle into the biggest card making time of the year is to use up my scraps. All these cards use designer series paper or card stock scraps to come to life. That means I may create the card pictured above in the colors shown, or I can change up the greens and the brown used while still keeping the spirit of the card.

I will be sending full tutorials for each of these to my email list on Friday, November 3 at 1pm ET. If you are on my list you'll get all four to spark your creativity for this holiday season. AND as a bonus you'll get four more on November 10 and then four great gift & packaging ideas on November 17. Remember this only goes to my email list so be sure you're on my list.

This is a great layout for so much more than Christmas cards! You can create this box look from a 3″ by 6″ piece of stamped card stock or designer series paper as shown in the card above.

Here's another way to create the tree using only designer series papers. In this case, I used a lot of Stampin' dimensional to make the layers stand up. If you wanted to you could use scraps of card stock to accomplish the same thing.

This is another very manageable way to create lots of holiday cards. For this card you could alternate the patterned papers and card stock scraps based on what you have on hand. You could even eliminate the challenge of stamping with coordinating ink by just stamping all the tags with black ink. If you were to mass produce this card you'd be able to cut all the scraps, cut, stamp and assemble all the tags and then put the cards together with a couple bottles of Multipurpose Glue. Add your bling at the end while binging your favorite Hallmark Christmas movies.

Spoiler Alert! I used Stampin' Blends to create the first card – can you guess how? You can find out on Friday when you get the full tutorial delivered to your inbox!
