Already loving Birthday Sketches and Candy Dots; now I'm playing with Washi Tape and it's lots of fun too! You can use it as an accent as shown in this card, to attach a layer. This is a great way to attach a layer of vellum too! I do have to break into my Candy Dot Bases, but I'm just having so much fun sticking them directly to my projects. The Candy Dots don't pop up a lot so they will easily go through the mail without extra padding in the envelope.
Since I wanted to make flags out of the washi tape, I enfoced it with Whisper White Card Stock so that it was easy to cut the flags.
Personal Note
I will be out of the office from July 17 – 21 at the Stampin' Up! Convention. I'm really looking forward to connecting with friends again and sharing in the company's 25 year celebration. I will be checking email as often as possible. Be sure to check blog updates, facebook updates and twitter for announcements. I will have a great special for you to enjoy while I'm away and will be posting and tweeting the exciting updates I'm sure Stampin' Up! will provide.
Update
Thank you to everyone who commented here an on Facebook about what to do with all my cards. I am going to donate them. Some will go to the troops, some to shelters and some directly to you! I will explain that part next week. If you have an organization I can contact to get the cards to the troops please comment below.
So jealous! Have a great time at the convention!
