Stampin’ Up! Scenic Sayings is a great stamp set to make quick and easy cards. For this card the Thank You from the set is paired with the Bokeh style designer series paper from the stack Serene Scenery.
Not sure what the Bokeh technique is? Watch this video from last winter to find out!
The finished card measures 3 1/2″ by 5″ and fits nicely in the envelopes from the Crumb Cake Note Cards and Envelopes. Of course Stampin’ Up! sells these envelopes with cards, but when you have a few stamping “oops” you end up with more envelopes than cards.
Besides helping your eye focus on the beautiful paper – I used the layer of Old Olive card stock so that I got them most out of my cuts of this paper stack. The paper measures
Sticking with cheerful summer colors – this note card was easy to make and will be fun to send! The new doilies are wonderful – they measure about 3″ – perfect size for a card layer.
I had a great time making a video for this card! So much fun that I think this will come a weekly – or maybe more often – thing to do! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think about my video instructions.
One of the great parts about this card is how easy it is to layer the “just a note” greeting. The Tags and Labels thinlits have multiple nesting sizes of this label and a scallop tag. I pointed out in the video how easy this can work for you.

As promised – a fun new card AND a video! For this card I made a picket fence using the Hardwood stamp and the Tree Punch. It’s super easy! I filed this video in Two Minute Tips because it’s just that quick. This card can be sent out just because which is a great reason to get a card. I like the soft colors of the English Garden Designer Series Paper. If you’d like a reference for these colors and more check out my Designer Series Paper Guides.
I used an older sketch from Mojo Monday to create this card. Here is what I started with:
To make the ring I used two circles from the Circle Framelits.
To attache the vellum over the Designer Series Paper and over
