Good Monday Morning! Time for a Mojo Monday Sketch (MOJO443). I've been playing with our new Wink of Stella product and wanted to show it off today. I love adding it to our Expressions Natural Elements! This card showcases one of the things I love best about Stampin Up! products – coordination. The color scheme uses three colors from the 2015-2017 In Color Combos. The pattern theme of “stripes” can be found in the textured embossing folder, washi tape and designer series paper. The three colors are repeated in both the paper elements as well as the flower accents. How cool is that? I like to be creative as much as the next
Sometimes Monday morning creativity needs a kick like the Mojo442 Sketch with Birthday Blooms. A soon as I saw that big circle in the center of the card I thought of this greeting. Then I trimmed a piece of the oh-so-pretty Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper and that finished off my color scheme.
These are all the beautiful patterns you can find in the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper. Many of them will work for baby and Mother's day cards too!
For this card I pulled this color combo. I'm going to miss Mossy Meadow:( For a quick reminder of the other colors we are going to see leaving soon read THIS POST.
Don't miss your chance to purchase the retiring in colors! Which color will you miss the most? Leave a comment on this post and a random winner will get a retired Stack of In Color Designer Series Paper! Full disclosure – five sheets are missing.

Here are the retiring in colors – many posts between now and April 30 will feature these colors. Feel free to add in your comment types of cards you'd like to see.
The Number of Years stamp set is perfect for marking those special occasions. We recently celebrated a good friend turning 50. The extra images in the set make it versatile for many other occasions as well. Then of course you can bundle it with some great dies and you don't have to fussy cut any of the numbers:)
You'll see the Circle Collection listed in the materials below. I used two different circles to get the “Look Who's Turning” banner shape. I was able to cut with both at the same time and then just trim the edges.
This card was for a guy, but I wanted to add as much as possible – enter the idea of a pop up inside. The new Party Popup dies are great for this. The even have
Today we celebrate birthdays! You have so many NEW birthday options to choose in the Occasions Catalog. Over the next two weeks most of the samples will be THANK YOU and BIRTHDAY cards. Of course there will still be a sprinkle of SYMPATHY and BABY cards too! Did you miss getting your copy of the Occasions Catalog? Fill out this quick form and one will be in the mail to you as soon as possible.
TOOL TIP: The new Stampin' Up! Big Shot Die Brush makes it very easy to use these detailed dies. I used the precision plate to cut the die and then the brush to remove the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper from the die.
This Designer Series Paper is from the Birthday Bouquet package. Even though it's in a birthday package it has great potential as a
This is one fun stamp set to play with! I also love this Designer Series Paper – which may be leaving us soon so be sure to get yours! The balloons seem lifelike due to some simple tools – the all new Balloon Bouquet punch along with dimensionals and Baker's twine.
QUICK NOTE: I used the paper that coordinates with Bermuda Bay in this pack, but my stamped images are in the paler Soft Sky. This makes the balloons “pop” just a little more. A Soft Sky marker adds a little shadowing to the balloons with a quick and easy swish.
Here's a video from Stampin' Up! showing you more ways to use this fun new stamp set. You only have until the end of the month to own this set – don't miss out!
Still loving this set AND $3 of your purchase goes to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities – how cool is that? For this card I used some fun new products from the Annual Catalog. I'm sure you recognize the new colors: Mint Macaron and Watermelon Wonder, but did you recognize the Color Me Irresistible Specialty Designer Series Paper?
The Color Me Irresistible Specialty Designer Series Paper is clear embossed for you – so many possibilities. There are white papers that you can color with ink using a brayer, sponges or daubers. You can even get more adventurous and use an Aqua Painter (but that has to dry).
I also used the Triple Banner Punch to create the double banner behind the ice cream cone. This punch is so easy to use and it makes banners for
It's a double card day! I had fun with this layout and decided to make two versions. The Schoolhouse Designer Series paper is so fun to work with I just couldn't resist. Are you a color combo hoarder? Do you love to find out new color combos that will work for you? What about Stampin' Up! Designer Series paper? Are you like me an you fall in love with ALL of them? If this is you then be sure to download my FREE Designer Series Paper guide for the Annual Catalog. “Necessity is the mother of invention” – this old English proverb inspired my card. I needed more birthday cards and there was a great sketch that caught my eye. I decided that the Candy Dots with the
If you've followed me for awhile you know how much Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper gets used in my cards and projects. That said, I don't like to waste any if I can help it. This sketch (shown below) inspired me to pull out the folder of scraps from my Birthday Bash DSP. I keep a clear folder in the same slot as each of my paper packs (thanks Mary for the great tip). This way I can see if I have some scraps that will fit the bill before I start cutting those precious 12 by 12 sheets.
The Mojo Monday Sketch was my inspiration for this card layout and the colors in the Birthday Bash DSP were the inspiration for the color pallet.
As you can see I
Happy Birthday! It may not be your birthday, but it certainly is someone's and I bet this card would brighten their day. This card showcases some of the new birthday items available in the Occasions Catalog that you can start ordering from on January 6, 2015.
I followed the Mojo Monday sketch to make this card. It is one of their Tall and Skinny layouts. This card measures 4″ by 7″. You can use a standard greeting card envelope to mail it or create an envelope with or Envelope Board.
This card uses the new stamp set Celebrate Today, matching Balloon Framelit and the new Designer Series Paper Birthday Bash. I will show them off to you on January 6! If you want to look at them before fill out this quick form to get
